Review: Nake cosmetics

I have a review of some products that were sent to me, so lets just get started.

The following are from Naked Minerals
I have always loved the Bare Escentuals Bare mineral lines so lets see how they compare

The first is the mineral moisture prep. You apply this before you makeup like you would a moisturizer. This does provide moisture however i dont see anything special about this. If you do have sensitive skin and are  looking for something, then try this out.

Mineral Foundation duo in almond (medium). The one on the left is going to be a part of a big giveaway on my youtube channel so go there and sub. Help me get to 500 so you have a chance to win this. There will be 3 winners. Todays look (which is below) i used the color on the right which is cool. I applied this with the brushes that you will see below. I do love how this went on and stayed all day even in the hot weather. Very comparible to the Bare Mineral.

Naked Bronzer duo in sunrise/ sunset. Again the smaller one is going to be in the giveaway. The sunset (left) I used as a bronzer and the sunrise (right) i used as a highlight. I love these. Gives you  a great amount of color and stayed all day long,.

This is the brow kit. I am still not that sure about this. The pencil is very hard so that makes it hard to work with.. I love the idea of the kit coming with stencils and a mirror and sharpener.

Neroli mist. I do like this. It helps the makeup to stay put. However its not my holy grail.

I got this bag that  i current keep all the brushes in. More on the brushes in a few.

Black out mascara. I think that this is great is your not looking for length or volume. It didnt flake or run, Pretty much stayed put.

I am in love with this balm. It keeps your lips very moisuturized.

Top to bottom: Sparkle and im not sure the other color cause its not on there. These lip glaze lip glosses do stay on and last for a long while. Paired with the lip colors they look great.

Left to right: smitten, feisty, stunning.

Great colors and very creamy. Lasted for a long while before having to reapply. Look great with the glosses.

These are the brush set. They are perfect for travel. I am a bit spoiled by my other brushes i use. I thought that these were a bit hard on the skin. I have some other brands that are very soft. Like i said these are perfect for travel.

This is my look with the products above.

Check out the Naked mineral website for more infomation

Also go and subscribe to my youtube channel and help me get to 500 subs. Huge giveaway happening when i get there, with 3 winners.

2 in 1 Product review Milani eyeshadow primer and essence 3d eyeshadows

I have seen both of these products and heard great things about them, so i wanted to try them out.
I did purchase the milani ehyeshadow primer ( it was on my shopping and hauling vlog) from CVS.

On the left side of my hand is the eyeshadow  without the primer and on the right is with the primer. I have to say that the right with this primer is more pigments. You can just see it much better.

The claim is that it intensifies and prolongs the wear of your eyeshadow with over 8  hours of wear time.
My thoughts  are that it is very true. You can see the pictures below. When i put the one with the eyeshadow it looks just as if i had just put it on, when i was taking it off.
I recommend picking up this primer. I got mine at CVS. It was under $5.

Now for the 2nd product review. I used these shadows with the primer.
These are so awesome. Very pigmented. These lasted all day long as well. They come in 6 different shades. I only picked up 2 of them. GO to your ulta and pick these up. They are only $3.49

My overall thoughts on both of these products.
I love them both. I think that the milani primer is my holy grail and i dont want to be without  it.

Nail polish lottery club week 28

Here is last weeks nail look for the nail polish lottery club.
I wanted to include the products that i use for a top and  base coat.
I use the rejuvacote as a base coat but i also put it over the top of my top coat as well.
For the top coat, I just last week picked this up and so far i have been loving this. Its the Sally Hansens no chip acrylic top coat.

I used this on my nails. Its from KO it doesnt have a color name. I got this in a monthly box but i dont remember which one. Its not the best. I felt like the polish went on crappy.

This weeks number was 78. For my collection, it was the wet n wild nail color in glitz. I put this on my accent nail.

Does Dollar General Discriminate?

So here is a little bit of a rant.I normally dont do this but i think in this case this message really needs to get out there so that other people  dont have the same thing happen to them.

A little over a week ago, Myself and my two 17 years old daughters went to our local dollar general. I have been to this store so many times before. Even when they were at their other location. I have always shopped a dollar general even in kansas city , where i am from,, i have even worked there before.
We when in to get some popcorn. After we got the popcorn that we wanted. My daughters wanted to get some drinks and some other snacks ( they were having a movie night) I let them look around and get what they were going to get. ( yes, they did have their allowance which is what they were going to use to pay for their stuff.) I went over to the makeup stuff which i always do,  I love looking to see if they have new stuff out that i may want to purchase. After walking down the length of the isle, I turned around and walked back up to the front to see if my daughters where ready and i notice that the worker  had walked away form the register to watch me. I also noticed that she was really looking me up and down and giving me dirty looks because of my tattoos. This upset me cause i knew what she was doing.  I got  my daughters and we go to the register and pay for our stuff. I told my girls to go outside to our car.I paid for the stuff and I asked if the manager was there. She said i am the manager.  I  asked her why she  was watching me. Her response was that she was also watching two other people as well., I said you mean my daughters. She didnt say anything after that. I said  do you really think that im going to steal, i have shopped here for ever. All there people here know me. I also told her that i will never shop here again after this.
I went home and was still very upset over this. I have never had anyone treat me this way and i know that the only reason was because i have tattoos which im sure that she hated. I went on Dollar General to mention my complaint and as of today i still havent heard from them.

I am upset that Dollar General still hasnt bother to contact me to fix this problem or at least acknowledge this issue.
I dont think anyone with tattoos or anyone in general  needs to be treated this way..
We have Armed Forces and police officers with tattoos.
We all need to be respected no matter what we look like.

I  have even been to other stores  in kansas city where i am from and was clearly the minority and   still was not treated the way i was from Dollar General.

So my question is: Do you think Dollar General  discriminates?

My answer is YES!!!!!

Essential luxuries by Oscar de la Renta

Hello, how are you doing?
I received these mini perfumes in the June's month of Glossybox
This month's box is Dallas Shaw.

A timeless, classic floral bouquet as elegant as the women who inspire Mr. de la Renta's luxurious designs: ladylike, refined and rare. The scent is an unforgettable blend of mimosa, violet and orris, softened with luxurious woody green notes.

A smooth, smoky tabac fragrance inspired by the tropical setting of Oscar de la Renta's birthplace, Santo Domingo. Fresh, citrusy notes of mandarin and coriander embrace the rich warmth of tobacco, patchouli and spices in the luscious scent.

An unmistakable, white floral bouquet intrinsically associated with Mr. de la Renta's devotion to family and his passion for gardening embodied in a lush, creamy accord of tuberose and ylang-ylang that mingle with peach for a warm tropical twist and an intoxicating trail.

A daring, dark oriental laced with gourmand nuances that embody the opulent textures in Oscar de la Renta;s celebrated runway collections. The fragrances unfolds to a warm, inviting blend of the unique hoya carnosa flower with hints of honey and bitter almond surrounded by dark cacoa and patchouli for a mysterious, delectable treat.

A crisp green invigorating accord in the essence of sea spray in a splashy Eau de Cologne. Fresh citrus notes, watery cucumber and an unexpected revitalizing greenness combine with warm sunshine and patchouli for a lasting serene finish.

A romantic citrus floral accord with a  radiant, feminine air inspired by the memory of the majestic Alhambra patios. The sweet scent of jasmine petals and bitter orange enlightened by exotic roses reflects off a fresh stream of water, leaving a lingering impression

Have you seen this beauty going around? This is the collection from physicians formula butter collection but its exclusive to ulta. and i...
